We are a Sydney team Martin du Plessis, Andre Botes, Conrad Groenewald, Kevin Radford, and Steve Ellis – MACKS, that believe that sport, being active, and supporting charitable community efforts, makes for great mental health and well being.  Your support, is highly appreciated and goes towards making distance education easier for the next generation.

The Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride has raised over $1,140,000 during the past 21 years! This money has supported: Cairns School of Distance Education State primary schools – including Mt Garnet, Mt Surprise, Georgetown, Croydon, Normanton and Karumba Child care centres and sports associations across Cape York, Royal Flying Doctor Service, Burns Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and Children’s Services at the Cairns Base Hospital

This year the event is aiming to raise over $100,000 and with your help we are confident of achieving this goal.

Donate and make a difference to Australian kids in the bush.

I’ll be riding 780km from Cairns to Karumba over 7 days starting on Saturday 26^th June 2021.  This incredible adventure is by far my biggest cycling challenge and I’m super excited to be a part of such a fantastic event.  The C2K is a charity ride raising much needed funds to support educational connection for students in remote Far North Queensland communities, providing them with educational opportunities.  The smallest donation is much appreciated as they all add up to make a huge difference to a very worthwhile charity.
