I am embarking on the Cairns to Karumba ride (780kms over 7 days) to help raise funds so kids living in rural and remote communities in Far North Qld receive access to better education and other vital services.  Having received part of my childhood education in Karumba 40 years ago, this event is particularly close to my heart.
