Paula, Misch and I are heading north for the winter. Of course we’ve managed to sniff out a bike event, this being a 7 stage MTB ride from Cairns to Karumba (C2K). The main goal of the event is to raise money for parents and children of remote schools along the way, so dig deep if you can and donate to this worthy cause.

This ride has been on our bucket list for a few years, but life has kept intervening!  But this year we’re doing it!  Riders are required to raise a minimum of $300.  Funds support education for families in the various remote areas along the route.   I will make sure that I cover the base $300 so that anything that you choose to donate will definitely go to support the cause and not just subsidise my ride!
