Causes

We are riding 780 km over 7 days from Cairns to Karumba to raise funds for students in remote communities in Far North Queensland including Cairns School of Distance Education, Primary Schools – Mt Garnet, Mt Surprise, Georgetown, Croydon, Normanton and Karumba as well as child care centres, sports associations.

Its a great cause and a significant challenge riding considerably further and faster in a week than we have ever done before. We will be riding road bikes rather than our touring rigs and riding in a pack which will bring its own challenges when we are used to setting our own pace.
