Fund raising to support educational opportunities in the communities that we ride through.

I’ll be riding 780km from Cairns to Karumba in July. We’ll pass through a number of  communities on the ride and one of the objectives is to assist these communities. By raising funds and doing the ride we can connect students in Far North Queensland with educational opportunities. Folks, it’s that time of year again when I begin preparation for the Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride. As part of this year’s readiness I’ve employed a crack mechanical and physiological team to help me get to the Gulf. It’s still a long shot, I know.

Riding 800kms to raise funds for distant education

Providing more opportunities the kids in the QLD outback!

I need goals to motivate my riding. I’d like to enjoy an active retirement and the Cairns to Karumba bike ride is a one of the best organised rides in FNQ. Money raised supports distance education for the children in communities along this ride and the fundraising has made a real impact over the years.
