Support Person for the Cairns to Karumba Bike Ride
A Cairns to Karumba support person travels alongside their rider or family member to provide personal support throughout the event. Their main responsibility is to transport the rider’s gear—such as luggage, tent and camp items—from one overnight stop to the next.
At each campsite, support people set up and prepare for their rider’s arrival, helping them recover and get organised for the next day. Because they are not part of the on-road riding groups, support people also have time to sightsee along the route while remaining available to support their rider when needed.
