After a long hiatus off the bike I have decided to join the Cairns to Kurumba bike ride this year to help raise some much-needed funds for Queensland Distance Education. I have spent many years in the bush during my time and have often seen the need for supporting kids in the bush and their education opportunities. I am hoping to raise some funds in the short time before and during my ride and appreciate any support you can give. I look forward to sharing my 780km journey (and the journey of other riders/ volunteers) across the top of Queensland from the eastern coast in Cairns to the western coast in Kurumba.
